Abstract

La présente invention concerne de nouvelles matrices MALDI destinées à l'analyse de composés de faible poids moléculaire à la fois en mode ionique positif et négatif. De plus, la présente invention concerne la sélection rationnelle des matrices MALDI pour des analytes prédéterminés, un procédé qui est resté empirique depuis l'invention de la technique. Dans un autre aspect, la présente invention concerne un nouveau procédé rapide à haut débit permettant l'analyse de composés de poids moléculaire faible par analyse MALDI et également les systèmes pour celui-ci.
The present invention relates to novel MALDI matrices for the analysis of low- molecular-weight compounds in both positive and negative ion mode. In addition, the present invention relates to the rational selection of the MALDI matrices for predetermined analytes, a process which has remained empirical since the invention of the technique. In another aspect, the present invention provides a new, fast and high-throughput method for analyzing low-molecular-weight compounds by MALDI analysis as well as systems therefore.
