Abstract

In general, in one aspect, the invention features a method for driving a droplet ejection device having an actuator, including applying a multipulse waveform that includes two or more drive pulses to the actuator to cause the droplet ejection device to eject a single droplet of a fluid, wherein a frequency of the drive pulses is greater than a natural frequency, fj, of the droplet ejection device.
Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne, de manière générale, un procédé de commande d'un dispositif d'éjection de gouttelettes présentant un actionneur, consistant à appliquer une forme d'onde multi-impulsionnelle qui comprend au moins deux impulsions de commande sur l'actionneur afin d'amener le dispositif d'éjection de gouttelettes à éjecter une seule gouttelette d'un liquide, la fréquence des impulsions de commande étant supérieure à la fréquence naturelle, fj, du dispositif d'éjection de gouttelettes.
